The
Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics gives women in South Carolina encouragement and resources for participating in Palmetto State politics. Through conferences and one-on-one training with elected officials, the Institute shows interested women how they can become potential candidates for the 2012 election. Until recently, this training was only offered to women willing to participate in the conferences held across S.C. New webinars and free online training provided by the Institute has made this valuable guidance accessible to women across not only S.C. but the country as well.
Mary Anne Jacobs, president of the Institute, says the webinars are easy to finish and are more beneficial than individual research on political elections.
This blog gives those interested a sneak peak at what the webinar training is really like.
